These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by LCR Projects.
By requesting a quote or accepting work from LCR Projects, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. About Us
LCR Projects provides residential renovation and home improvement services including, but not limited to:
● Bathroom renovations
● Kitchen renovations
● Carpentry
● Tiling
● Flooring
● Painting & decorating
Services are provided across North London and South West Essex.
2. Quotations
All quotations are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days.
Quotes are based on the information available at the time. Additional work requested or unforseen issues may result in additional costs, which will be discussed and agreed before proceeding.
3. Acceptance of work
Work is considered accepted once the client confirms acceptance in writing (email, message, or signed quote form).
Acceptance confirms agreement to pricing, scope of work, and these terms.
4.Payments
Payment terms will be agreed prior to commencement.
A deposit is required for all confirmed bookings. This secures the agreed dates and covers initial labour time and, where applicable, materials.
For shorter projects, the deposit amount will be agreed in advance and must be received before work is scheduled.
For larger projects, staged payents will be agreed and made throughout the duration of the work.
A final balance is due upon substantial completion of the agreed works.
Once final payment has been received, any minor snagging or agreed finishing items will be completed within a reasonable timeframe.
LCR Projects reserves the right to pause work if agreed payments are not received.
4a. Deposits
Deposits secure project scheduling and cover allocated labour time and materials.
Deposits are non-refundable once dates have been confirmed and work has been scheduled, unless LCR Projects is unable to carry out the agreed work.
If the client cancels after confirming the booking, LCR Projects reserves the right to retain the deposit to cover time allocated and any costs incurred.
5. Client responsibilities
The client agrees to provide reasonable access to the property and work area for the duration of the project.
The client must ensure access to:
● Electricity
● Running water
● Adequate working space
Where applicable, the client is responsible for arranging suitable parking for work vehicles.
This includes obtaining any required permits or permissions.
Any parking costs, permits, or restrictions must be discussed and agreed in advanced.
The client must ensure the work area is clear of personal belongings unless otherwise agreed.
LCR Projects is not responsible for delays caused by lack of access, utilities, or parking restrictions beyond our control.
6. Changes to work
Any changes requested after work has begun may result in additional costs and adjusted timelines.
These will be discussed and approved in writing before continuing.
7. Workmanship
All work will be carried out professionally and to a high standard using appropriate materials and methods.
8. Liability
LCR Projects holds appropriate public liability insurance.
We are not responsible for pre-existing structural problems or hidden issues that become apparent during work.
